De meningsverschillen over de invulling van de opleiding Bouwkunde zijn van alle dag. Een beetje van dit erbij, daar wat eraf: de opleiding beweegt zich afgelopen decennia geleidelijk in het brede spectrum aan onderwerpen die het vakgebied definiëren. Ook nu, met het nieuwe bachelorcurriculum, moeten we weer opnieuw bekijken waar we staan als de ‘architectenschool’ van dit land.

De opleiding is uiteraard een belangrijke schakel tussen de student en het vakgebied. Niet heel vreemd dus dat mensen die nu het vak uitoefenen geïnteresseerd zijn in waar wij ons hier mee bezig houden.

Studievereniging Stylos en architectengenootschap Architectura et Amicitia willen het gesprek aangaan tussen de praktijk, de student en het onderwijs. Geen college, geen debat, maar een gesprek met hoor en wederhoor, waarin de tijd is om te beleven wat er leeft bij alle partijen, waar onze gezamenlijke kracht zit, waar we van elkaar kunnen leren en zien wat we aan elkaar kunnen hebben. Hoe kunnen we elkaar optimaal kunnen inspireren en motiveren?

Woensdagavond 15 februari zullen we over deze kwestie praten aan de hand van vier vraagstukken, die elk ingeleid worden door een pecha kucha (20 slides x 20 seconden) om architect, student en docent op de tribune van de Apenrots aan te zetten tot nadenken. In de pauze en achteraf is er mogelijkheid om verder te praten en contacten te leggen.

We nodigen iedereen die hier rondloopt op de faculteit uit om zich te mengen in dit gesprek om zo veel mogelijk opvattingen in de Oranje Zaal te laten circuleren!

The discussion about the contents of the Architecture education is timeless. The frequent changes over the years are the result of this discussion. Even now, the new bachelor curriculum, we again see where we stand as the "architect school in this country.

The education program is an important link between the student and the professionals. Not so strange that people in the field are interested in our thoughts.

Student association Stylos and architect society Architectura et Amicitia want to start the conversation between practitioners, students and education. A conversation with reaction and attention for everyone. What is going on nowadays, what is our collective strength, what can we learn from each other? How can we inspire and motivate the other?

Wednesday February 15th we will talk about this issue on the base of four questions, each introduced by a pecha kucha (20 slides x 20 seconds) for architects, students and teachers present to encourage reaction and conversation. In the break and afterwards there is opportunity to further discussion and establishing contacts.
