“Aerospace Engineering has a wind tunnel, Electrical Engineerging, Math, Physics & Computer Science have their laboratories but Architecture has a planet full of buildings.” professor, engineer Hein de Haan once said. More than 50 years ago the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment decided to call for a committee to formulate criteria to examine the aim of trips organized by students. Each student is once along his or her study eligible to apply for the so called Stylos Grant to join an excursion. The amount of money on the budget is divided in two and spread over the two semesters. Currently this is €100,- per person.
