Bij Octatube bedenken we slimme oplossingen voor complexe en specialistische architectonische constructies. We realiseren deze vervolgens ook zelf. Denk aan de kabelnetgevel van de Markthal in Rotterdam en de uitbreiding van het Victoria & Albert museum in Londen. Stuk voor stuk toonaangevende en inspirerende projecten. Ontwerpen en maken gaan bij ons hand in hand: van technisch ontwerp en detaillering tot productie, montage en onderhoud. Octatube is een design & build bedrijf in één.

Binnen het traineeship maak je kennis met al deze onderdelen. Zo leer je niet alleen de organisatie goed kennen, maar doe je ook ervaring op binnen verschillende rollen waardoor jouw (technische) kennis en vaardigheden enorm groeien. Als trainee krijg je alle ruimte om aan je persoonlijke ontwikkeling te werken én om workshops en trainingen te volgen. Door deze combinatie bieden wij jou een toegankelijke overstap van je opleiding naar het werkveld.
Aan het einde van je traineeship heb je een gereedschapskist vol aan kennis en ervaring en weet je alles over hoe we bij Octatube samenwerken. In dit traineeship onderzoek jij waar je goed in bent en wat bij je past om aan de slag te gaan binnen een passende rol. Kortom, een perfecte start voor een prachtige carrière!

Wat je doet:

• Je start samen met een aantal anderen die net zo gedreven en ambitieus zijn. In anderhalfjaar tijd draai je mee in twee tot vier verschillende afdelingen en rollen binnen Octatube.
• Je ontwikkelt je vakinhoudelijke en persoonlijke kennis en vaardigheden door mee te werken, trainingen en workshops te volgen en middels persoonlijke begeleiding.
• Je geeft vorm aan jouw eigen ontwikkeling, waarbij wij jou ondersteunen.
• Je werkt aan je soft skills, zoals: communicatie, plannen en feedback geven en ontvangen.
• Je krijgt de vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid om jezelf te ontplooien in onze zelfsturende organisatie.

Wat neem je mee:

• Een HBO-/WO-diploma in een (bouw)technische richting.
• 0-2 jaar werkervaring.
• Je werkt graag aan innovatieve, creatieve oplossingen voor onze uitdagende projecten.
• Je gaat geen uitdaging uit de weg en wilt jezelf blijven ontwikkelen, zowel op professioneel als persoonlijk vlak.
• Je werkt graag samen en legt gemakkelijk contact met anderen.
• Je bent communicatief sterk in het Nederlands en/of Engels.
• Je hebt een geldige EU-werkvergunning.

What you will do

• You will start the traineeship with a small group who are equally driven and ambitious as you are
• Over the course of a year and a half, you will rotate through two to four different departments and roles within Octatube.
• You develop your personal knowledge and skills by working, attending trainings and workshops and through personal guidance.
• You are in charge of your own development; we will support you in your journey.
• You will further develop your soft skills, such as: communication, planning and giving and receiving feedback.
• You will be given the freedom and responsibility to develop yourself within our self-directing organization.

What you bring in

• A bachelor or master’s degree in a (building)technical direction.
• 0-2 years of work experience.
• You enjoy working on innovative, creative solutions for our challenging projects.
• You embrace every challenge and want to continue to develop yourself, both professionally and personally.
• You enjoy collaborating and easily connect with others.
• You have strong Dutch and/or English communication skills.
• You have a valid EU-work permit.
