The Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam is known as one of the most intriguing industrial monuments in the Netherlands. The building attracted international attention as soon as it was completed; architects all over the world, such as Le Corbusier, were fascinated by the design and praised it for its ‘purity and uncompromising clarity’.
Nowadays the coffee, tea and tobacco factory still inspires many designers and is opened for the interested public. The excursion committee organises an excursion to this incredible monument and you are welcome to join us on Wednesday the 7th of December. We will gather at Stylos at 14:45 and travel by train to our destination, where we will be getting a tour of the building.
