Description

Within the Post+65 programme of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE), we are looking for an intern for a research project on inner-city transformations in the Netherlands between 1950 and 2020. This is a paid internship.
As an intern, you will contribute to historical (archival) research and cartographic reconstructions of inner cities, combining this with GIS, spatial data and historical maps. You will be part of a project team and help map how inner cities have changed over time.

What will you do?

  • Archival research into inner-city developments
  • Cartographic reconstruction of inner cities using GIS
  • Working with spatial data and historical maps
  • Collaborating within a project team

What are we looking for?

  • Some experience with GIS
  • Preferably Dutch-speaking
  • Able to work independently
  • Interest in spatial transformations and heritage

Practical details
The work can be carried out from Delft, but you are also very welcome at the RCE in Amersfoort.
